Latin Language Course

That makes sense and I do understand. However if you and you team ever get the opportunity I think that Latin is a "vital" K-12 course. As Latin used to be taught starting in Elementary in many parts of the US, Canada, and Europe and in some instances is still a compulsory secondary class in Europe. Even the small amount of Latin I have learned is helping me in my Math and Science classes immensely so I think it is the future.

Khan Academy is what I would consider a cutting edge platform of spreading knowledge throughout the world, I believe your organization is ahead of the game, and I believe reintroducing a class such as Latin into the world of K-12 would also be a game changer. Near every scholar I admire and respect have learnt their share of Latin (and Greek), from Nietzsche, Hesse, Newton who wrote Principia in Latin, to Einstein who excelled in Latin in his youth. These scholars started learning Latin early on and I believe it excelled their abilities in science. As we know Latin is the language of science. So I hope that you find some meaning in this, and whether you add a Latin Language Course or not, I do appreciate and love what you are all giving to the world. So I will sum up with a thank you. My daughter is in 12th grade. She's taking intro to Latin. This is indeed something that was also offered when I was in high school too. It's definitely needed on Khan academy. The language makes up so much of how most every other modern language came to be. It's literally everywhere. Understanding Greek and Latin, not just the common English roots, will help with college in many more ways than one thinks. Plus, it's a hard thing to learn for some and having different modes of learning, aka videos here, might just help a few more kids, and adults, than you think. +1 vote for Latin Intro course
