Printable PDF student progress/completed lessons?
Is there a way to see a report of some sort to physically show parents the progress their children are making? Something like a report card?
Hi Marissa,
Unfortunately there's not a direct way to download or print progress reports for parents, but one thing that you can do is print out (or save as a PDF) the individual student assignment report. This will show all of the assignments that you've given the student, as well as their completion statuses and scores.
Here's what it will look like when printed:
Another option is to have parents create their own KA accounts and link them with their children's accounts. To do this, the students will need to log in and go to their Account Settings. From here, they will see a Parent/Guardian Email section where they can invite their parent. This will allow the parents to see their child's site activity and mastery movement, however it will unfortunately not allow them to see their child's class assignments.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
To clarify, the features shown in the screenshot above are only accessible from the student's account?
No, the above screenshot is taken from the teacher view! To access this, go to the Scores tab in your class. You can then click on a student's name to view their individual activity report and assignment scores report (the one shown above).
I allow my kids to self pace and I dont normally "Assign" them work. Is there away to get a PDF of all their activity progress assigned and unassigned? I am trying to keep a written record to create a transcript of their progress.
Hi Sharon,
There's not a direct way to do this, but there's a few different ways you might be able to accomplish this:
1. If you go to the "Activity Overview" tab that's shown in the screenshot above, you'll be able to see all of the content that the student has worked on (both unassigned and assigned content). This will show the amount of time they spend on the activity and their score for the exercises, quizzes, and tests. This page isn't downloadable, but you can save the page as a PDF or print it out.
2. If you go to the Settings tab in your class, there is a "Download CSV" button that will give you a list of every assignment completed by your students and more detailed information in a spreadsheet format. However, note that this will only include assigned content and not content that they've done on their own.
3. Alternatively, you could use the Skills tab within the Activity Overview page to report which skills each student has mastered. This is a great option if you're able to use a standards-based grading system.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
