I think a sentence in this link is missing (As mentioned above, isotopes are different forms of an element and the numbers of protons are the same but the numbers of neutrons are different.) I think this sentence would be more appropriate (according to above,Isotopes are different types of a particular chemical element that, due to their position in the periodic table, can contain the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons.
