Adding prior existing account to my class

Is there a way to add a prior existing student account to one of my Khan Academy classes?

Background, student has been working on a different account (not attached to my class), and just had to switch out her laptop and doesn't remember her password. The "forgot password" option didn't work for us. She cannot add me as a teacher if she cannot log in, and I cannot update her password without being attached to my class.

If you contact the help desk, they will work with you to find the account and then she can be added to your class.

The forgot password feature WILL work if the student remembers the email that they used. My experience is that many students don't know which email they used or no longer have the password for said email. If your school offers school emails for its students, I always make them use that. It makes it so much easier when they forget their log on information.
