According to the information on the app, the app only supports English at the moment.
Also, according to Khan Academy Kids Zendesk page, only English is available at the moment:"The program, which is currently only available in English . . ."
If you need any more information on how to use the app; try this site:

Ahh... You're on iOS? The Android Play Store seems to be missing this key piece of info. English-only is likely the case across all devices then. Not the answer the I wanted, but at least now I know. Thanks!

I don't use iOS or Android; I simply visited the app page on my browser to find the information : )
Anyway, it's for all versions of the app at the moment; as the Zendesk page mentions. Maybe in the future they will implement other languages. You can submit a request using the link below: -
Hi @jbrockerville I am responding to this a year after your question. I am in the same shoes as you. Did you find any apps that are appropriate for bilingual kids?

Montessori Preschool and other Edoki apps. FWIW, I think Khan's "workflow" and content controls are way better, but MP is multilingual so... MP it was.

For those who are still wondering about this issue, the Khan Academy Kids app is still only available in English. I'm sure the content will eventually be translated into additional languages, but we're a very small non-profit team so I do not have a timeline as to when this may happen.
For kids 2nd grade and up, you can use the regular Khan Academy app or desktop site, which is available in many different languages.
