Syntax Error in Regular Expression

This is an extremely common error that Oh Noes gives WITHOUT also supplying a "Show Me Where" button, which makes it extremely hard to find as it most often is one misplaced \ in a text setting. Which doesn't show up as obvious to us programmers. And it most often comes in programs of up to a thousand lines of code (not an exaggeration). My request is for Oh Noes to show where the Syntax Error is, so that some of our programs we gave up on can be fixed a little easier.
