Aggregate Student Progress Data Suggestion?
As you know there are 41 math skills making it exceedingly difficult to check every skill for each student*. Also, within any given skill, there's a wide range of levels. I want to credit students for their accomplishments and drilling down on a slow connection is just unrealistic*. I'm also seeing that crediting students for completing their goal questions for the week is somewhat unproductive as many are just cranking through the problems to get credit, but not "leveling up" as I would expect if they took the time to assess their errors.
I would like to be able to download a csv ranking sheet by class that lists each student and their rank in each of the 41 skills. It'll make it much easier to sort my classes for differentiated instruction while others continue to work on their own KA recommended practice probs and to see their individual progress in each skill. OR as an alternative, would it be possible to show "Level Up" info on the "Class Overview" tab. This doesn't seem to function for an SAT Prep course, but only for a regular course where a teacher assigns work and sets goals.
Hope this has some merit worth implementing. Please. Most everything else about the SAT practice on KA is awesome!
*I'm teaching VERY mathematically diverse groups of high school students in the math portion of an SAT Prep course. There are two sections of this course, each section is divided in two, half with me and half with an english teacher for two week stretches, after which we switch. So really, four sections of students in the course.
