Assignment List, how do you have the current assignments show up first?

When looking at the assignment scores for one particular student, there is not a way to change how the assignments are sorted. By default, the assignments with the latest due dates will be shown at the top.

Instead of using the single student view, I suggest using the "Scores" tab under "Assignments" in the left-hand menu. You can then filter the assignments for a specific day or range of dates, and view the scores for all students for those assignments.

One other possible (although tedious) suggestion: I ran into a similar problem when assigning a large number of assignments for a given semester course, and they would show up on the student/class assignment list in reverse order of how I wanted them (the latest due one showing up first, the first due assignment showing up last). It took some time but I manually changed the due date/time on every assignment to have them appear in chronological order. Set the first assignment due at 11:59pm on the last day of the semester, the second assignment due at 11:58pm, third at 11:57pm, bumping each subsequent one a minute earlier. Again, a little tedious on the setup, but found it worthwhile over the course of the rest of the year.
