Feature requests: “Lasso” + delete/duplicate/move options for the free form draw feature
When working on math problems in the app, the ability to draw/write my work freehand is fantastic (i.e. I’m talking about where you click the squiggly line at the bottom left and can write with a finger or stylus using multiple colors). But erasing more than just a few numbers is such a time-consuming pain that I’m almost afraid to make mistakes. So if the app had a more efficient way to delete handwriting than simply manually erasing everything pencil-style, that would be massive productivity booster.
One way to do this would be by adding a “lasso” function with a pop-up context menu. The lasso is a free form selector which, when selected, allows users to “select” a portion of their writing by tracing a line around it, after which a context menu appears with options to delete, move, duplicate, etc. that portion. The iOS Notes app has implemented this feature beautifully if you’d like to see an example.
Adding something like this, or another way to (at least) delete writing more quickly and efficiently, would greatly enhance the experience of using your app to practice math. Thank you!
