I would love to be able to set up my computers (Windows) to run Khan Academy in a Kiosk mode. The goal would be for student to not be able to access ANYTHING except the Khan Academy platform. Does anyone know if this is possible or has figured out an alternative solution for this? I think I would know how to do this on my Chromebooks, but they are too old and don't support the app store.

I know I'm a little late here, but I'm sure others may still have the same question!
I think the best way to do this would be to use the built-in "Assigned Access" setting on Windows. There's a nice guide here that explains how to set it up. This will lock the user into Google Chrome and prevent them from accessing other applications.
To prevent users from going to other websites in Google Chrome, you can use a Chrome extension to blacklist all other websites. Blocksite is a good Chrome extension that would accomplish this. You would basically blacklist all websites except these domains, and then password protect the Blocksite extension settings to prevent users from being able to access other sites.
