Hello Content Team,

I recently began working as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Adult Education in Tennessee. As a former AE instructor (and Khan Academy champion!), I would love to have a curated list of content that is pointed towards success in AE programs. Our instructors and program directors across the state are major fans of Khan Academy, but they find that the content is generally arranged in a trajectory that is slightly off from what our adult learners need.

I'm not necessarily proposing the creation of new content, but the ability to arrange the content in a way that aligns to the Adult Education standards, which are the standards in which High School Equivalency and Adult Basic Education assessments are aligned. Perhaps this could be in the form of a new Subject or Math by Grade level.

I'd be happy to talk with you further about how this could positively impact a large number of adults in AE programs across Tennessee, and I appreciate your time very much!

I don't see any answer here to the adult ed question. I am also an adult ed teacher trying to find the best way to use KA with my high school equivalency students. I am a huge fan of Khan and used it in my middle school classroom. This is a different game in adult ed, though. Going through the content by grade level isn't really appropriate. I wonder if anyone has done any work on aligning the content available here to the High School equivalency standards, as mentioned above. For now, I am starting with giving the Arithmetic course and the pre-algebra course. Probably will add whatever would be next, that's offered still. Is it Algebra basics? I do not feel the need to do a full Algebra 1 course. However, maybe there are a few items within the listed skills for Algebra 1. Did anything come of this request years ago?
