I had a question about adding preexisting khan academy accounts to my class. I am coaching students over the summer, instead of losing of all their past progress, will the code work for them if they have a preexisting account? Or do they have to sign up as a new user?
I would greatly appreciate a step-step process of what it would look like if my student was "joining the class." Thanks!
Hi there,
To add a student that already has an account to your class, visit your coach dashboard and click on the class you want to add them to.
At the top right of the page, you will see a class code. This code will need to be given to the students that you want to join your class.
The students will then need to visit their Coaches tab from their own account. They will then need to enter the class code you gave them into the top left box.
