The daily Flagging limit needs to be increased.
Is anyone else running up against the daily flagging limit?
I am trying to keep up with the new questions that come into 6th grade math every day, and as I go through the Questions queue I flag the non-questions (tips & thanks, not helpful, abuse, site feedback/problems), but I almost always run out of flags, sometimes before I have gotten more than 12 hours back in the queue. (My hope in flagging the non-questions is that not only will they eventually get removed, but that those users will stop making inappropriate posts. The fewer non-questions in the questions queue, the more of my effort can go to helping people trying to learn math.)
I have been told by official KA people not to engage with inappropriate posts but to flag them. This is difficult when the number of flags I get per day is completely inadequate.
I would like to know the number of flags I am able to use per day. I am guessing that (like the limit on posts per day) KA will not disclose that number. I thought I could just take screenshots of the statistics on my user profile, but I read a post from 3 years ago that the flag count on the user profile is not accurate. Do I have to keep a tally by hand to find out how many flags I get?
I think allowing 50-100 flags per day is not unreasonable, since some users look at 100s of posts every day when going through question queues. (If we are already supposed to be allowed 100, then it's not working correctly for my profile.)
Does anyone agree with me?
