troubles with answering a python question

What you did wrong is you didn’t add the round function. On line 9, you put str, but not round. The answer to that is: str(round(final_price, 2))). The 2 means you’re rounding it to to the hundredth place, or 2 decimals. The 3 parentheses are to end the print()function, to end the string, and the round() function. Hope this answers your question.

i tried your method but it didn't work. i don't know what to do anymore 

aida.zogheb On line 9 of your code you round the final_price variable, but you didn't specify how many digits to round to. The round function takes two arguments, the first being the thing to round and the second being the number of digits to round to. If you don't specify the second argument, it defaults to 0, rounding to the nearest integer.

We want to round to two digits after the decimal in this exercise. If the variable you wanted to round was called thing_to_round, we would write round(thing_to_round, 2) to round to two decimal places.

i did that but i got the same error message

I think this error is being caused by the extra space you added after the $ symbol on line 9. If you remove that space, the code you have provided passes the tests for Step 2.
