Problems with inserting subscripts on logarithmic concersions

Hello,

I was wondering if I was the only one having trouble inserting subscripts on problems that required me to convert an exponential equation (that wasn't base 10) to a logarithm. I even tried the base conversion method, but the system still told me I was wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Obinna,

When clicking on the input box, a window should pop up showing different options. If you choose the log base b option, it should allow you to type the subscript directly.

Let me know if this doesn't solve the problem.

Oh, ok, thank you. Before I read this I found out, though, that typing log_(b)(a) could also solve my problem, but thank you for the help.
