we know that according to "stephen hawcking" time travelling is possible. the idea he put forward is that if we can travel around earth with approx equal speed of light for 5 days then by the end of 5th day when u come to rest ,the time around u would have forward'ed to 100 years further but is it true ? i dont think so!!
It is possible, as long as you're going to the future. Hawking was describing the phenomenon of time dilation. If you hopped into a spaceship and left Earth, travelling very close to the speed of light, time for you will slow down relative to your surroundings. When you return to Earth, you will be returning far into the future, depending on how close to the speed of light you got. You may have aged 1 year on your trip, while 1000 years may have passed on Earth.
This phenomenon has been confirmed with very accurate clocks and subatomic particles. It exists. We just don't have the technology or resources to push something the size of a human to near-light speeds. The closest humans have gotten to this is on the International Space Station. The astronauts are travelling at about 25000 km/hr. The amount of time dilation they experience after several months on board is on the order of microseconds. It's incredibly small, due to their speed being nowhere near the speed of light. The phenomenon is most pronounced when particles with known half-lives are pushed to near-light speeds. The time after which the particles decay at these speeds is demonstrably prolonged, due to the time dilation they experience.
I am open to all possibilities and I do find Time travel interesting until scientists find possible evidence of Parallel world's etc. Then we can never fully be close to a yes or no answer.
The good and exciting news is gravitational waves,quarks have been found so each small seed of evidence leads to a big tree.
While I have a spiritual side I am also more scientific type of person while stars wars is only a movie I do believe the universe has a mysterious force with us 😉 maybe with time we will be able to time travel..
