Khan computing gurus: Please *encourage* learners. "Nope" isn't an answer.
Hi all, my son is 13, loves computer programming, but has no one in his life to help him with it. We've been struggling with Khan's course, and he's trying to soldier on, soliciting help from, I assume, you all. He received the answer "Nope" to his question today about where a section of code is supposed to go. Granted, the answer continued with what the coach would indeed help with, but the effect was demoralizing, still. If he knew where to find the answer, he'd find it.
Folks, you have no idea what is going on in these learners' homes. Please assume the best of them, and *encourage* them. "Nope" just sounds like you're assuming he doesn't want to learn. He DOES, he's just searched for days for the answer, is on his second try with Hoppy Beaver, and dagnabit, "Nope" has no place here.
