Meteorology: I need help on!!

Hi! I am a 12th grader and I need help with Meteorology, but you guys obviously do not have this subject at all. I do not understand how the currents work, global warming, cold pools, etc. To be honest, Meteorology is ridiculous to those who will not need to memorize anything from this subject unless someone want to be a meteorologist. Please have someone who understands Meteorology, and can explain how these currents, upwelling, and other stuff related to Meteorology, or whatever teach students like me so we can do better on our tests and such.
