Translator certificate
Do translators get any sort of certificate that proves that they have done volunteer work?
As part of our Support Community improvement project, we’re preserving inactive posts that have historical or community value and closing them to new comments. This is one of them!
If this post covers a topic that you’re interested in discussing with the community or requests a feature you’d like to see on Khan Academy, you can try to find an active post about it and add your thoughts (or feel free or create a new post if it doesn’t yet exist in the forum).
Hi hkim, I suppose that depends on the coordinator of the translations, and how much work it represents. There is no "translation certificate" that I know of, but some of the Khan Academy certificates could easily be modify to show this. There's currently no rule that volunteers will get a document signed by someone working for Khan Academy, but if you have a vounteer translation team leader this would be the logical person to ask.
The Guides in the Help Center get a certificate from me (volunteer team leader for the Guides) if they put work estimated to be the equivalent of at least 5 hours work each week for at least 6 months.
