How can I find the version of the Khan Academy mobile app I'm using?

You might run into some issues if you’re using an outdated version of the Khan Academy mobile app on your device.

To use the Khan Academy app, ensure you have one of the following versions:

  • Version 8.5.1 (or later) on Android 9+
  • Version 8.5.1 (or later) on iOS 16.6+ (the app is still available on iOS 15, but not fully supported)

To check the version you’re currently using, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Khan Academy mobile app.
  2. On the app's Home page, tap the gear icon (⚙) to access the Settings.
  3. Once there, you’ll see the version of the app at the bottom of the screen.
