When my child logs in, why are they redirected to my Parent account?
If you're a parent and have an existing Khan Academy account, you are able to create an account for your child.
Accounts for learners younger than age 13 are considered child accounts and are managed by a parent to protect their privacy.
Although the email address in your Khan Academy account is linked to your child’s account and is set as their parent, their account is not associated with it in any other way, and they do not share the same log-in information as you.
In other words, the email address, username, and password (for example) are different between your parent account and your child’s account.
For your child to log into their own Khan Academy account, they must do so using a combination of their own username and password.
