How do I sign up for the free Khan Academy Writing Coach?

Khan Academy is thrilled to provide our Writing Coach for free! With this exciting launch, we hope to empower and support English Language Arts (ELA) and humanities classrooms. Let’s get started on unlocking your students’ writing potential!

Steps for Teachers to Sign Up for a New Khan Academy Account

1. Access the Sign-Up Page:

Head to the writing coach web page http://khanmigo.ai/writingcoach and click the “Sign Up” button to start your registration process. 

2. Fill Out Registration Information:

Next, choose how you'd like to sign up - Google, Clever, Facebook, Apple or Email.

At the bottom of the registration form, you will be presented with the following legal language:

“By signing up, you agree to the Khan Academy Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.”

You confirm that you qualify for this type of account access as a teacher.

3. Finish the setup process.

To finish setting up your profile, we need just a little more information about you. This will make your general Khan Academy experience even better, as some teacher features are tailored to specific age groups. 

4. Welcome to Khan Academy!

 Once your account is successfully created, you will be welcomed to Khan Academy, ready to explore extensive resources as well as our Writing Coach tool.
