Why did I go down a level?

There are a couple of possible reasons you went down a level/or lost skill points.

1. You leveled down a proficient skill. (This is probably the most likely reason): This happened when you got a question (that you were previously proficient in) wrong on a unit quiz or test. When this happens, you lost that skill point you earned earlier. Losing that skill point could cause you to go down a course level.

2. The course was changed: We periodically update our courses and sometimes skills are added or removed. If a skill was removed that you had previously earned, you will lose that skill point. This could cause you to go down a course level.
