How can I customize my Khanmigo avatar?

Did you know that Khanmigo has a vast closet of accessories you can choose from? 

To access Khanmigo’s closet, please follow the below steps:

  1. Log into your Khanmigo-enabled Khan Academy account
  2. Click the 3 dots located in the top right-hand corner of the Khanmigo Activities page, or at the top of the Khanmigo chat window 
  3. Click the “Khanmigo’s closet” option from the dropdown menu

 

Once in Khanmigo’s closet, you can use the energy points you’ve earned while working on Khan Academy to unlock the different accessories! Follow the below steps to do so: 

  1. Click anywhere on the item to select it
  2. Click the blue “Claim” button to spend your energy points on a new item
  3. Click “Wear this item” to display the accessory on Khanmigo as you navigate through Khan Academy

Here are some reminders to keep in mind when shopping for new accessories in Khanmigo’s closet: 

  • Khanmigo can only wear one item at a time (unless it is a combined item like the scarf + beanie set, which count as one item)
  • If you don’t have enough energy points for the item you’d like Khanmigo to wear, it will be grayed out and showing a lock on it 
  • Claiming an accessory from Khanmigo’s closet cannot be undone, so be careful when clicking the “Claim” button!
