How do I sign up for Khanmigo?

We are excited for you to explore everything Khanmigo has to offer! 

Below are some requirements you’ll need to meet in order to get started and to ensure you are signing up for the Khanmigo plan that best fits your needs: 

• Age Requirement:
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have a parent/guardian sign you up who is
    
    
• Location Requirement:
  • To sign up for the Parent or Learner Khanmigo plans:
    • You must have a billing address in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia
  • To sign up for the Free Khanmigo Teacher Tools your: 
    • IP address must be within the United States or the locales listed here
      • Sign up here to get notified when Khanmigo will be available in your locale! 
    • Khan Academy account language must be set to English 
      
      
• Number of connected child accounts:
  • If you are signing up for the Parent Khanmigo plan, you must have 10 or fewer children connected to your Khan Academy account.

To sign up for Khanmigo:

1. Visit the Khanmigo website
2. Choose Your Plan:
   • For Teachers: click the "Sign up for free" button
   • Parents or Learners: Click any of the "Get Khanmigo" buttons

3. Create a Khan Academy account: Create an account if you’re new here, or log into an existing account.
   • Please note: If you are signing up for the teacher tools using an existing Khan Academy account, the language needs to be set to English.
4. Provide Your Details: Fill in the required fields with your information. This step might include entering payment information if you are purchasing a subscription.
5. Accept the Terms: Don’t forget to accept our terms and conditions.
6. Confirmation: After completing these steps, you will be redirected to Khanmigo and we will send you an email confirmation to the address you provided.

A note about the Free Khanmigo Teacher Tools

The Khanmigo Teacher Tools are available for FREE to teachers in the United States and these locales. There are some differences to be aware of, however:

• The Free Teacher Tools are a collection of our Khanmigo-powered tools designed specifically for teachers. 
• The Parent and Learner Khanmigo features are not available in the free Teacher Tools subscription. 
• If you would like access to ALL the Khanmigo Tools, we recommend signing up for the Parent Khanmigo plan and then turning on the Teacher Role in your account settings.
