I was taking the unit test about inverse functions, and a problem came out about whether a table of values is could be a function. I answered no because within the same table there was the same input and output twice. Therefore, it cannot be a function but I got it was incorrect. Here is the problem:

To not be a function the same input has to have different outputs. In this example if the cans of repellent where 0 and the number of mosquito bites were 11 and at the same time 10 then it would not be considered a function (and it would not make sense in the real world, it could not happen)
But there's no problem if different inputs have the same outputs. In this case is just repeated values, I don't really understand what is the point of putting repeated data in the problem is just junk data but it does not make it a relation instead of a function.
