I set up my account and two accounts for my sons. I am able to log into all accounts on the Kindle Fire 8 using the Silk Browser. I am having trouble logging into Khan Academy from the "Kids" side of the Kindle. I have Khan Academy as one of the approved websites through Amazon Kids. I can access all the course materials and videos but cannot log in so progress can be monitored. I tried logging in under all three accounts. Anyone have success using and logging in using Kindle Fire Kids with Khan Academy?

Hi Adria,

Did you create the accounts via the khanacademy.org website? If so, these accounts (and the child accounts that you created) are for the Khan Academy desktop site and the accompanying Khan Academy mobile app, not the Khan Academy Kids app (this is an entirely separate platform).

If your kids are in grades K-2 or ages 2-8, then it is recommended that you use the Khan Academy Kids app. To use this, you will need to create an account for yourself through the Khan Academy Kids mobile app, which will then allow you to create child profiles under your account.

If your kids are grades 3+ or ages 9+, then it is recommended that you use the regular version of Khan Academy, which can be used from the desktop site using a web browser or through the regular Khan Academy mobile app. The accounts you created on the desktop site should allow you to login through the regular Khan Academy mobile app.
