Is cross-simplifying the product of fractions taught anywhere on Khan Academy?

I don’t know of vid or article that explains it, but I do know of a vid that had cross multiplication in it, and I think that he did explain it a little bit, if that helps. It was somewhere in my pre algebra course. I’ll have to review the vid to see how much he actually explained about it.

If you want I can probably find it. It was about different ways to do a question that involved fractions and one of the ways was cross multiplication of the fractions.

I'm not talking about cross multiplication, but cross simplification -- the numerator of one fraction and the denominator of a different fraction are each divided by the same number before the fractions are multiplied together.

If you find a video or article that explains cross simplification well, I'd be grateful for the reference (you can share course, unit, lesson, title if that's easier than a link; timestamp or section header would be helpful too).  

Do you agree that Khan Academy should teach cross simplification before using the technique in a video on another topic?

(Unfortunately, I almost missed your update -- I'm guessing it was held for approval because of the link, so by the time it was approved it was a couple days old.  I don't follow posts here because there would be dozens of emails generated daily by people commenting on KA threads I'm in -- instead, I look at the most recent comments, because that's faster.  I guess it also means I miss stuff that was held for approval.  So frustrating!)

That’s ok. I was pretty busy earlier this week and ever since pretty much stayed off the web, only checking my notifications on my home page about every 2 or 3 days. Thought that I should check these ones here too. I don’t follow any posts because I don’t have my own email, so it goes to my mom’s email, and I don’t think that she likes it when a bunch of email notifications come in clogging her phone lol.

I don't follow any posts either -- I don't like my email getting spammed with the notifications.  Instead, since I have lots of free time, I literally look at every thread with a Recent addition.
