View assignments in a calendar

Dropping in to add my name to the request.  Additionally, it would be awesome if you could pull up a calendar view, then on the left hand side have a block interface (With collapsing, nested groups by course) where you could drag and drop a module onto the calendar then use handles on the left and right side of the "Bar" on the calendar to set the start and end dates.  The time could be universally set via a user preference in the calendar view (ie - start time and end time for calendar view modifications) so that when a bar start is on a date it automatically imports the default start time and likewise for the bar stop.

I would love a calendar view as well.
