The problem involved showing the effect on acceleration of doubling the radius (keeping angular acceleration constant). Using A=w^2 R, the answer is A doubles. BUT, using V=wR, and plugging V into A= (V^2)/R, the answer is A quadruples!? Clearly there's a big point I'm misunderstanding. I'd be extremely grateful for help. Thanks in advance.
Ah! Thanks very much for your help. I should have known the issue would be carelessness rather than an inconsistency in the equations! I'm embarrassed but happy. And grateful that you were willing to help an idiot.

Hello Martin, don't say that about you. You're on the right track, anyone could make those small mistakes. Regarding your question there are a lot of ways in doing that. What I do is press the Windows key and the dot key at the same time. That will display a UI where you can choose emojis, greek letters, mathematical operators or other things. Here a photo: 
You would then have to scroll down until you find the character you're searching for. Obviously for this to be done you need a laptop or a computer with an integrated Windows operating system and consequently a physical windows key (this last one i guess is optional). If you have another operting system there are a lot of ways to do it, but maybe the first one that comes to my mind is simply googling. Happy learning.
