If I assign a concept under the Assignments tab does it count towards course mastery? It looks like the assignments are exactly the same but it doesn't seem like my students are gaining master points when completing assignments that haven't been assigned specifically through the course mastery tab.

Hi, Patricia! Things you assign do count for mastery if they are in that same subject. I just assigned geometry mastery today, but many of my students are already at 20-30% mastery from completing assignments I've given since the beginning of the year. One or two assignments won't have much impact in the mastery percent, but they will see it over time.
