Do you mean this old display?

This feature was removed after we introduced the updated Mission and then Course Mastery systems. Most students and teachers have found that the linear course progression works best for them, but I understand how this sort of dependency tree could be helpful in some instances. Unfortunately I'm afraid there's not any plans to bring back the knowledge map.
I want to be able to show my students how the skills they are learning are related to their future learning and how what we are learning now has built on previous skills.
Yes this knowledge map... This is exactly how I needed to connect my kids to their learning. It might seem like a rabbit warren, but it was how I pictured utilizing the content Evan Lewis as my kids can't see how one skill leads to another. They have an end destination in mind and want to see how to get there and why stuff might be relivant.
Just out of curiosity, I went to Google and put this into the Search box (double quotes are part of what I typed):
”Khan Academy” “knowledge map”
And, yes, I think I found it.
Evan Lewis or any other person affiliated with Khan Academy, please feel free to delete this message if you think it’s inappropriate. But I hope you will keep it here, since it appears that some people still want to use it. Ditto for setting the page so it won’t be picked up by search engines. Incidentally, I had never seen or used it before, and I probably won’t be using it.
@Regina Yes, it can be fairly easily found using a Google search. As the page itself states though, some of the links may be broken. This tool is definitely not something that is maintained, it loads very slowly, and the organization isn't the greatest, which is probably why it isn't directly linked to anywhere on the site. I'm not sure how using this tool would affect your progress in the missions and the new mastery system, and there's a chance using it could mess up your progress, so I definitely wouldn't recommend using it if you find it.
No, sadly, it's now gone, gone, GONE. Why do they always have to go and mess up a good thing? Urg! REALLY, programmers, all this takes is a little bit of thought. Make a knowledge map that is multi-dimensional instead of flat-surface on a screen. Or, instead of showing the ENTIRE map all at one time, once you get to a certain area, make one button a link to a new section of the map. Or, have some arms of the map condensed, with the option of expanding a map section more fully. This is NOT hard thinking!! And the new structure is NOT how people learn the best! Have you not done any research on how people effectively learn new things? The original ideals are completely lost, and the new team is ONLY interested in how much MONEY they can bring in from those who can't learn from the current system. The current system is one people DON'T effectively learn new things from!! -- WHY would you want to mimic that?? Again, except for profit, there is no reason...
