Adult Education
Hello Content Team,
I recently began working as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Adult Education in Tennessee. As a former AE instructor (and Khan Academy champion!), I would love to have a curated list of content that is pointed towards success in AE programs. Our instructors and program directors across the state are major fans of Khan Academy, but they find that the content is generally arranged in a trajectory that is slightly off from what our adult learners need.
I'm not necessarily proposing the creation of new content, but the ability to arrange the content in a way that aligns to the Adult Education standards, which are the standards in which High School Equivalency and Adult Basic Education assessments are aligned. Perhaps this could be in the form of a new Subject or Math by Grade level.
I'd be happy to talk with you further about how this could positively impact a large number of adults in AE programs across Tennessee, and I appreciate your time very much!
