Mastery Goals: Deleting

I just started assigning Mastery Goals to my classes this year.  I was experimenting using one of my classes and had assigned some mastery goals and then deleted them.  On my Teacher Dashboard, the goals that I had deleted are gone.  However, every single student in this particular class can see all the goals I had assigned and then deleted.  They are listed as "archived" but it confuses the heck out of them.  How can I get rid of these altogether so they do not see them anymore?  I can't see them from the teacher dashboard so I thought they were truly deleted but the students are still seeing them as archived.
