Do you mean BEDMAS?
Brackets
Exponents
Division
Multipication
Addition
SubtractionIf you have an equation like:
6 + 8 (9 x 3)
You would do the brackets first,
6 + 8 (27)
Then the addition,
14 (27)
Then times the brackets by the number,
14 x 27 = 378As for normal multiplication like:
4 x 7 = 28
You don't need the order of operations as there is only one order of operation in there, multiplication!Hope this helped,

Mahnoor's response was ALMOST correct, but remember than multiplication/division comes BEFORE addition/subtraction.
So it should be:
You would do the brackets first,
6 + 8 (27)
Then the MULTIPLICATION,
6 + 216
Lastly addition:
=222One thing people forget about PEMDAS (or BEMDAS), is that multiplication/division technically happen at the same level, as does addition/subtraction. So if you have something like 2*3/4*8/6 or 4+2-6-1+24-13+1, you would then want to solve it from LEFT to RIGHT, or by combining like terms.
Hopefully that answers your question? If it doesn't, could you give a specific example?
