.7 and -6.7 in Pre-Al
On one of the Pre-Al problems you say that .7 is less than -6.7...even on a coordinate plane, a positive number is greater than a negative number in my book. Isn't this misleading!

Sorry Jeff, I did not get the explanation...just the answer which surprised me...I do think it was involving coordinate points of x and y on a coordinate plane....however...I still think .7 is greater than (they use the symbol) -6.7
You are correct that .7 is greater than -6.7, any positive is greater than a negative, even on a coordinate plane. Did the symbol and numbers look like this?
.7 > -6.7 or -6.7 < .7
Both describe the inequality, is this what you saw?
