What kind of social chats can get you banned?

Hi!

I've recently been concerned with following KA's Community Guidelines and avoiding being banned. I've been wondering...what type of social chatting can get me banned? I'm very chatty in programming teams and other's programs, and want to avoid turning KA into a social media app for myself.

Also, what random topics are KA lenient with so long as they aren't disruptive? Can sharing the continent I live in & my timezone be considered social chatting? Maybe sharing a joke/goofing around but keeping it relevent to the program content or something related? What shows I like/have watched? Or even where I'd like to go for holiday?

I just want to be cautious.

Thank you for wanting to follow KA's Community Guidelines and not treating KA like a social media app.
In my experience, comments on user programs are not scrutinized as much as those in the courses. However, I would guess that chatting about TV shows or holiday destinations is not considered relevant to learning unless it somehow ties in with the program.
KA is a non-profit trying to provide free educational resources. Every post costs them money for server space, so posts that do not contribute to user learning would reasonably be discouraged. I suggest instead using social media to share jokes and holiday plans.
