How to re-assign a failed class more easily?

Would it be possible that you tell students to re-do the lesson if they didn't achieve a score you were looking for? Each time a student finishes any assignment there is a try again button. 

I tell my students they need 70% or above to move on.

I'm afraid there's not currently a way to prevent students from accessing subsequent content in the courses.

It sounds like you're using the Progress tab to track their quiz scores? If you're assigning each of the quizzes and unit tests individually (instead of, or in addition to, a mastery goal), you should be able to see all of your students' scores directly from the Scores tab in your class. This will show their highest score out of all attempts at an assignment, so this might be an easier way for you to determine whether or not your students are meeting a minimum score. Once you assign the quiz once, they can re-do the quiz multiple times to earn a better score, which will automatically update on your Scores page.

They'll then have to go back to their assignments page (or to the quiz directly) to obtain a higher score if you notice from your end that they haven't done this on their own. However, there's no re-assigning necessary for them to earn a better score, and your scores page will automatically update.

Thank you for posting this question. Currently, Khan Academy does not have the option to hit a "reassign" button for assignments. I've documented your feedback to share with the product team that oversees the teacher dashboard. 

I think Christine's suggestion of asking students to re-do any assignments with a score of lower than a set level is a good one. I know that students aren't always that motivated to go back and fix something they've completed in the past, but it may certainly save you time!

You have a few options here. The first would be to just re-take the class which may be a bit costly if you are paying out-of-pocket. The second would be to contact the school and see if they have any procedures in place. This is often the case. A third option would be to speak to the department that you want to get the credit from and see if they will accept something equivalent (such as a portfolio). If you get lucky, you might be able to take a test, such as CLEP or DSST at an exam center (usually requires an additional fee) and get credit that way.
