Unique Skills

You can view the skills you have mastered from within an individual unit of a course. Here's an example from the Algebra I course:

Unfortunately you can only view your individual skill progress from within each unit (i.e. there's not a single place where you can view all of your mastered skills across the site).

Unique skills are math skills.

And you can still get unique skill badges. I got Just Getting Started, Making Progress and Productive 4 months ago, these are my only skill badges. These skill badges are not retired and the next ones (Hard at Work, Work Horse, Magellan, Sally Ride, etc) are still available. I'm aiming for Hard At Work these days.

Now I have also earned Hard at Work, and I'm aiming for Work horse.

I know right. I think you have to count them but it takes really long and I forget my number. If anyone could answer their question, I would do this a lot more.

Based on feedback that you and other learners shared with our team, Khan Academy has recently redesigned the Course and Unit Mastery pages and introduced an overview of the skills in a single course so you can tell in a glimpse what skills you’ve mastered and those that still need to be completed!

That is helpful to know, Andrew, and I like the redesign. May I add a "but," however? It would be still better if Khan users could see an aggregate unique skills count on the profile page with other metrics like videos completed and energy points earned. For example, I've earned a Magellan badge for accumulating 100 skills, but I have no idea of how many remain for the Kepler badge, which requires 300 skills. If the badges are meant not just to decorate, worthy as that is, but to motivate, knowing how far off the next goal could help with that. 

it would indeed help as i have wondered how many i have since i got the magellan badge recently and would like to also know how far off i am from the next tier of badges
