I believe it would be very helpfull to both the new and returning student that certain terms like quotiant or variable,hypotneuse be defined on the bottem of a video that mentions them. for example if Sal says the word quotiant on the bottom of the video, next to the transcript option, there should be a tab called definitions with all the mathematical terms posted there with emphasis on the ones in the video. E.g "with in the Y axis..." bottom of the page

Y Axis:

the secondary or vertical axis of a system of coordinates, points along which have a value of zero for all other coordinates.

Thanks for the suggestion! I can definitely see how this would be a helpful feature for students to have!

I've shared this feedback with our team for further consideration we continue to plan for the future of Khan Academy.

In the meantime, most of the concepts and terms covered in the videos should either be explained in the current video or a previous video. However, if you're unfamiliar with a specific term, the best thing to do is to post a new question under the video asking for clarification. Other members of the community will then be able to share their knowledge and help explain any confusions that you may.

I like that idea or maybe an overview on Terminology in the unit, i usually just google the terminology but it would be useful for it to actually be there with everything because if it's there we'll see it and understand what it means faster it does explain it in the videos yes but i too have found to fully grasp what it means and to remember what it is i need it in text so i just type the terminology in my notes so it's definitely important there's something there to see the terminology.

There's quite a bit of stuff not there or not in the right places a bit more organization and 1 or 2 more videos or other things would help a lot, it's not just seeing or hearing it but because of how many times each individual may need to be exposed to the information some things we need to go over more times than others, so if you can see it there then you can just keep quickly clicking on it to read over it.

I usually explain things like... Numerator (top number), Denominator (bottom number) so that it's concisely clear what it means and i think we need to be super concise and precise with mathematics and any missing information in any of the units or split up into different units can muddle us up or takes more time than would have to understand it, then it's because of how it all connects and that's why writing notes works cos it's all there together, If you get what i mean? :P.
