Manage Assignments

Also on settings, please allow students to format their names Last, First  so Its easy to match our grade books. Usually, I can do that from my dashboard but they cannot on their end. Please enable this feature. Mainly for the assignments, I would like the flexibility of lining them in the order I need them completed. Currently unable to so they have to scroll down when I need an assignment that is listed below completed.

Thanks for sharing this feedback! I've shared this with our team so they can take this into consideration as they plan future updates to the classroom tools.

The assignments are currently shown to students in the order of their due dates, with the next due assignment at the top. If you need to have a custom order of assignments, one workaround is to use slightly different due times for assignments that have the same due date. For example, have one assignment be due at 11:57 pm, 11:58pm, 11:59pm, etc.

Regarding the student names, they can change their own nickname via the account settings page. However, please note that if you have set a different nickname for the student on your end (using the Students tab in the teacher dashboard), the name you have set is what will always be shown to you, even if they change their nickname on their own.
