Just like how you can search here to see if a feature you'd like has already been requested, you should be able to search for your question in the video/article discussions. This could clear up a lot of clutter in discussion boards, and reduce the need for people to answer questions that have already been asked. It would also be more efficient than searching through all the comments on a particular video or article, which can be very time-consuming.

Agreed, definitely would be more efficient. There are definitely many frequently asked questions that are not directly asked, and this would be a lifesaver for the sanity of the people answering questions.

Have you tried searching the course content for something (such as where exponents are first taught, or where dividing fractions is taught)? I have, and it is very difficult to do because there is no way to specify a phrase or that all words in the search must be present.
Do you think that a search on the Questions section would be implemented more effectively? If not, I don't know that it would be useful.
