Hey, I was recently admitted to a PhD program, and I will need to catch up on some math before I go because I will have to take Calculus.
I was recommended the Khan Academy PreCalc course, but I would like to know how long does it usually take, and how many hours a day/week I should devote to it?

Each unit will usually take 3-6 hours (watching the videos; reading the articles; doing the practices, quizzes, and tests). PreCalculus has 9 units, so about 27-54 hours total.
Before diving into the world of Precalculus, ask yourself these questions"
- How many hours a day/week can I use to study?
- Do I have a finish date? (When should I be finished going through the course?)
- Am I going to go through the whole course or pick and choose?
After answering these questions, you should be able to gauge how much time you should devote.
