Long story short, our district just moved from Clever to ClassLink. Most of us still have access to Clever and are logged in, but in the off chance you get logged out, kids can't get back in.

Not knowing this, I logged into Khan from Clever, established my classes, and now I can't get a class code for anyone; it says kids need to login with Clever.

You see the problem here. How do I change this so kids can use a code and sign in another way? If it means I have to delete the current classes and start new ones I'm just going to avoid using Khan this year, unfortunately. That would be such a pain for me, the students who already did all the work, and the ones who need to start trying new ways to log in.

Hi David!

Thank you for reaching out! I am afraid that Clever Library classes cannot be populated by class codes. These classes are synced directly from your Clever roster.

When you access your Clever Library classes for the first time you’ll see that the student count will show as zero. In this case, you’ll see there is no class code shown for the class, and the Add new students button is greyed out.

Once all of your students have completed the process of accessing Khan Academy via their Clever portal, the number of students in your Khan Academy classes should match what you see in Clever for your roster.

If you notice that a student is missing from the “Pending” section and you can't find them under “Student names”, please check the Clever roster. The list of students you see here should be an exact match of what you see in Clever for your class rosters.

Since your students are not using Clever anymore, I am afraid the only workaround would be to delete the classes and start new ones that are not Clever synced. I am sorry I couldn't be of more help in this scenario!
