Change the wording in 2 songs, for better learning behavior
We have really been loving Khan academy kids, all 4 of our boys, age 3-9 love it, and often repeat the songs throughout the day. However, we have issues with 2 of the songs, the first one is "If you are happy, clap your hands" song. In the second verse it sings, "If you are angry, angry, angry stomp your feet." The kids will sing this song over and over and we don't encourage them to stomp their feet when they are mad because it fuels the mad feelings. So instead we tell them to take deep breaths, but if we try to change the words of the song they say, "No! stomp your feet!" So we would ask that you change it to, "If you are angry, angry, angry take deep breaths" to encourage kids on diffusing their anger with some deep breathing to help them calm down.
The 2nd song is the one that says, "Hurry up, hurry up, hurry, hurry up". That can get rude and mean if people ask you to hurry up (especially if they yell or use a harsh tone), so a simple solution to keep it polite and to teach the kids good manners and patience, say, "hurry please, hurry please, hurry, hurry please."
