Where is the original digital SAT?

I had previously, in 2023, practiced for SAT using the khan academy section where there was a big banner saying I should get ten problems done a day, a small purple meter showing how many problems I have done in recent days, and a swap button between “Reading & Writing” and “Math”. I understand this has all been changed but is the SAT section where there are the squares showing “Attempted”, “practiced”, and “understanding” bars that tell me how well I know certain subjects or don’t know other ones. This started very far from the other SAT to the point i think I might be in the wrong place 😑 Is this the SAT section? I go to “Courses” then to “practice section” then to “digital SAT” where I find myself there. Any idea if I’m in the wrong place or just in the same place but it’s all new? Thanks for your time 👍🏻

I had this question too few months ago and emailed them about it since I wanted access to the previous practice tests they had.

Here's what they said:

Greetings ----------,

Thank you for bringing up your concerns regarding the SAT prep content. I understand that it is urgent to save this information. However, I regret to inform you that since the SAT content will no longer be available after December 31st, 2023, the pages have already been removed.

Nonetheless, I can provide you with the link to the official College Board practice test links. Khan Academy collaborated with the College Board to create these practice tests, so you can find downloadable copies on their site. Please visit the following page:

Its important to note that for the new Digital SAT format, Khan Academy only offers articles, videos, and practice questions. That said, I suggest you keep on preparing for the Digital SAT using both Khan Academy's Official Digital SAT Prep for skill practice and College Board's Bluebook app for full-length practice tests!

From College Board's Bluebook app, you'll be able to take full-length practice tests, and after each practice test, students can review their performance and read answer explanations for the questions missed.

So basically I think they revamped a bunch of stuff for whatever reason, but I do have to say that I miss the old layout and content from 2023 since I found it more organized and helpful than the new version. The new version just feels so basic.

It's possible that Khan Academy is still working on constructing the new SAT practice section to make it better but it's just a guess.

I found the Bluebook app mentioned in the email very helpful for the "classic" SAT practice questions and practice tests. Talk to your educational institution about requesting an access key or account to login. You can also login with a college board account.
