So I'm a member of I-create Studios, an average khan academy team. While reading the rules I found out that one of them said: "Please understand that Pro- and anti-LGBTQ projects and competitions for this team are not allowed to avoid controversy. Thank you!", So Is supporting the LGBTQIAS+ allowed on Khan Academy.
Also please don't remove this team, They look cooperative and Nice.

I'm not sure where you saw the part about "Pro and anti-LGBTQ programs". Could you please upload a screenshot? As the guidelines currently stand, Pro-LGBTQ programs are perfectly acceptable, because KA does not consider sexual orientation or identity to be politcal or controversial.
Furthermore, it is perfectly acceptable to be a part of a coding team, as long as you mostly focus on coding, which your team seems to do.
Also, I hate people giving hate on KA because In their Religion, It's not ok to be anything associated with anything like this

That being said, if we feel that a project relating to this topic was designed to spark controversy and arguments, we still reserve the right to remove it.
As far as this particular group goes, I think it is perfectly fine and mature to decide as a group not to create projects on this topic, especially if the group thinks this may cause issues amongst its members. The group wouldn't be able to prevent its members from creating projects like this individually, but restricting the topics of the group's collaborative projects seems perfectly reasonable.

As a user, I think that Khan Academy is about learning school related subjects. The subject of the LGBTQ society however can get a bit political and sexual, not always, but sometimes, which is against the sites rules and guidelines. I don’t want anyone to get banned from Khan Academy, it’s a great learning platform that everyone should get to use, but in order for that to happen I think it would be best to just refrain from putting out LGBTQ things. I don’t mean to offend anyone, I just want to keep the site friendly and full of learning for everyone. I hope y’all have a lovely day!
