Ever since Pamela left, there haven't really been any contestsfor JavaScript. Could Khan Academy please add a Guardian or somehow let the coommunity handle contests? I know I and many others would love to have this fun opportunity to compete with other users to try to get a Golden Winston.

I definitely agree with this. I had just started coding, and the challenges left. The challenges did help me the time that I was there, but when they left I slowly stopped coding. (I'm now getting back into it). It was nice to have a upcoming challenge to learn more for. Please bring them back!!
I agree. I joined a few months before pamela left, and didn't "get into khan" until I found the CS and CP tutorials. Like, a year after pamela left. Well, I found an in progress contest by a short return, but I was not that good at coding back them. I also want a golden winston, so yeah. I support this idea!

I would like it if you would circulate the vote list because once a program is of the hot list users can't find it very easily. plus the very good programs are stuck at the top.So I would like it if you can like shuffle the top 50 or so programs on the Vote list.
Reviving KACS Contests would be amazing. When I first started actively using the KA Computer Science environment I found the contest section and a contest called "Contest: Internet 101" I was overly ambitious and didn't finish my entry but it made me excited about programming and to learn. It also made me want to be ready for when the next contest came so I could do better but little did I know that would be the last of the KACS contests. In their absence others have held user contests, I myself even held one successful user contest but because of how long a contest generally lasts, it will only get a little bit of attention on the HotList and then they're often forgotten. It's especially nice since I'm not great at coming up with ideas of things to program so a contest gives me a direct task that I can look at and more easily determine what to make while simultaneously challenging me.
