As of February 22, 2021, new students will automatically receive all active class-wide assignments as soon as they join a class!
Previously, when new students joined a class, teachers received a notification to update new students’ accounts with all active content. Now, new students automatically get assigned active assignments once they join your class! For more information on this feature, please refer to this article.

This was posted two years ago. It would be nice to change it so I don't have to keep going in to check if students have signed on to be approved. I posted an assignment so they don't see it unless I see the notification and approve them. I enrolled them from classroom so should be easy to make automatic. Please fix this.
