Advanced simplifying (precalc) (Resolved)

Hey, in precalc right now, and we were taught how to simplify something, but I forgot.

the parent function is:

1/(x^2+(1/x^2))

now try to write it out...

     1      

x^2+ 1  

       x^2

something like that. Anyway, I need to know how to simplify that. Also, for future reference how would I set the topic of something like this? there isn't something like general help or math help, simply stuff about the site.

Well, talked to my teacher about this (or rather someone else did, and he retaught it). It worked by 1/(x^2+(1/x^2)=x^2/(x^4+(x^2/x^2)=x^2/(x^4+1)
